Hello everyone!
Alright so a short and sweet update about my life here in Bolivia! We’ve been here doing ministry now for two weeks, painting orphanages, washing babies and handing out food to the poor. It’s been great so far. Tomorrow (Mon. 31 Mar) we’ll go into the jungle for about 10 days where we’ll be doing a lot of physical labor, roofing, yardwork and more painting. In the jungle I’ll have no contact with the outside world, so don’t worry Mom I’m still alive haha 🙂
There’s been a few videos that have been posted and I encourage you to check them out.
The first one is our festivities on Easter Sunday. We went to church, of course then hiked to the top of this mountain where there’s a giant Jesus statue. Then that night we had a really incredible worship time with our squad. To watch the video about our hike check the first video.
Next, on Friday, after handing out food to the poor in a very very small village 2 hours from where we are currently living we hiked to the top of the highest mountain in central Bolivia. We were at about 17,000 feet, above the clouds! It was an amazing hike and def breathtaking, literally! Check out the second video.
Lastly, Saturday morning (yesterday) some of us went to take food to the poor in another poor village. We handed out fruits, milk, cereal, and bread. It was such a rewarding experience, probably my favorite ministry we’ve done since we’ve been here! A great reminder of why I am here!
Enjoy! 😉
MUCH LOVE!
