Note: Read ‘Jesus’ fav color is Green’ before this, might help you put it all together better. Also these stories come from about a week and a half ago, being sick pushed me behind a little bit on the blogs! But I really wanted to share this story with you! The ‘GOD DID LIST’ is growing by the day…

Ministry Day 2:

I was struggling with being bold and
confident with my Spanish skills, I don’t even know why usually I’m
just talk talk talk…but things had been different. I guess since
ministering to people and praying for them in Spanish is something
completely new to me I was scared. In my heart I strived and prayed
for more boldness and opportunities to step up. That day I met with
my World Race coach Kathy and shared what was on my heart, then on
the way to Tambo de Mora for ministry I discussed ‘the issues’ with
my teammate Sarah. We sat in the back seat saying ‘BRING IT GOD, I
dare you!’ Well He doesn’t mess around, we got off the bus to realize
that we were one translator short….It was time to step up!

Woah, hah I didn’t expect it to come
that soon but here goes! You guys don’t need a translator, you have
Becky! My team layed hands on me and prayed as we continued listening
to God, Caroline felt the urge to go to door #33, so we went and
you’ll never guess what color it was written in…that’s right!
Green!! We learned more about the community and life of this older
man. As we talked I translated everything was going well! Before we
said goodbye we asked him if we could pray with him. Praise God! The
words flew freely from my mouth into the ears of this man it was like
perfect Spanish! Beyond excited to know the Holy Spirit was in me
allowing me to use this gift we continued on our way…

Today we had planned a lunch date with
Elena’s family-her 3 daughters Maria-Isabel, Hillary and Angela.
What a humbling experience it was!!! Imagine being served a complete
meal from a family who barely even has enough to eat themselves. The
food was excellent and it was such a great time of fellowship with
them. We shared our favorite verses with them and Maria-Isabel shared
her favorite verses with us. You can see the light of God in her eyes
and smile! And since then we have started doing a Bible Study with
her…just totally fabulous with such passion and faith for the
Lord!!!

Before leaving for the day we breifly
stopped for more prayer with Natividad, the lady who cannot see nor
hear very well. She looked happier this time than before. Her hearing
and vision has not yet been completley healed, however, unlike last
time, we did not have to yell to talk with her! God is in the process
of healing this woman!

Lesson learned: Ask God to bring
it…He will! Dare Him, double dogg dare Him, whatever he’ll put you
to the challenge and be by your side the entire way through it! This
man is so incredibly amazing! I am blessed with the gift of Spanish! And furthermore the fact that from the beginning of
time He chose ME to be here in these moments to further The
Kingdom!!!

Please continue to pray for boldness
with using my Spanish! Thank you!

He’s got me right where he wants me…

MUCHO AMOR!
