My first three months on the race are complete!!!! It has been a complete blessing and honor serving in Africa. To be honest I never thought I would ever get to visit Africa let alone serve here for three months. I have learned so much these last couple of months and I’m so excited to see what God has in store for the rest of my race. These last couple of months the Lord has radically consumed and changed my life in such a wonderful way. With each day that passes I fall more in love with my Lord and Savior.
These last three months God has truly revealed to me his sovereignty and his great love. I love how he loves to remind us of these things and in such a tender and loving way. Before I came on this race I struggled with feeling unworthy of his love and in such a beautiful way he has romanced me and shown me how much he loves me. He has shown me that although I don’t deserve it and I am nothing without him that He chooses to love me, that because of Christ and the cross my sins are forgiven and that is unfathomable.
I will truly miss Africa and all the beautiful children/people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. As I leave in just a couple of hours I will be leaving a piece of my heart here. I ask that you all keep us in your prayers as we enter the next phase of our race: Asia!
