Well guys, we did it: eleven countries in eleven months. I hope that we can all walk away from this with the answer to my
original question “is there more than this?” The conclusion I have come to is “yes” and we have been a part of that bigger picture for almost a year now. Good times! Of courseI couldn’t have walked through it without you and cannot say thank you enough! Instead I will say it eleven times (cute I know) in memory of our time together.
Spasiba (Russian) to all who voiced their doubts and disapproval of my travels. You really know how to solidify a girl’s determination. ![]()
Multumesc (Romanian) to everyone that doesn’t understand my passions, but have supported me regardless. I love and respect you for that.
Dhanyavad (Hindi) to the companies, churches, families, and individuals that have financially and/or prayerfully backed my time out here. My hope is that you’ve felt a part of it all from beginning to end.
Asante (Swahili) to those who diligently kept up with me despite the distance. It’s what I missed the most – not knowing what’s happening with all of you.
Murakoze (Kinyarwandan) to the people that sent
seemingly random but such encouraging emails and messages. The timing was always impeccable and often made my week!
Weebale (Lugandan) to everyone I don’t even know about who have quietly kept up with and thought about/prayed for me and my team. That was felt, believe it.
Cap cun ca (Thai) to the select few on the receiving end of my data dumps – rants and raves of all the stuff I had no outlet for. You saints got to know more than you probably ever wanted, but made me feel heard and helped keep me sane. ![]()
Sheh sheh (Chinese) to all of you that had the blessed-curse of being on my team at one point or another. 8) You’ve challenged me, grown with me, and been there for me through all the craziness that comes with whatis the World Race.

Terima Kasih (Malay) to all of our contacts for allowing us to step into their ministry in an effort to encourage and assist in all ways possible. Your big hearts inspire me!
Ar kun (Khmer) to all a ya’ll that are working to make my re-entry into the States welcoming and stress-free. I hear it can be a rocky road, but I’m anticipating only the best.
Salamat (Bisayan) a million times over to The Big Man for putting His world on our hearts and using us to love the previously forgotten people outside of our immediate vicinities.
I’m not sure how you’re supposed to end this blog thing, but here we are. Keep it real folks and contact me the old-fashioned way if you ever get the urge to see what I’m up to!
