I’m Becca, or Bec, (I’ll answer to either) and I am 22 years young. I have 4 sisters, 2 older and 2 younger which makes me the middle. I will graduate in December with my Finance degree from the University of North GA. I know what you’re thinking, EW! Finance. And you’re right! Finance is very “ew”. I wish I could have gone to school for something cool like nutrition or art or even athletics but it turns out I’m not half bad with a calculator. We work with the cards we are dealt.
Outside of school, I love hiking and being outdoors. I sometimes rock climb and mountain bike but I’m still pretty new to those. Mainly I’m just good at walking outside. But seriously, I love hiking. I love standing at the bottom of the mountain and looking up at it knowing that it’s going to be hard to make it to the top but excited to climb it nonetheless. And once I get to the top and see the view I know it was worth it to make the climb. I’ve found that I connect with the Father the most when I’m outdoors. I believe that nature has a lot to teach us about God because I think that’s where God is meant to be, in nature. He wasn’t meant to be confined to the entrapment of 4 walls. After all, God is exciting and dangerous and flowing and challenging which are all things I connect with when I am outside.
I have a weakness for dogs and good coffee. I hate scary movies and I love taking pictures but I tend to use the shotgun approach where I take 20 pictures at one time and hope one of them takes a good photo. I love thunderstorms and running in the rain.My favorite book of all time is “Oh the Places You Will Go” by Dr. Seuss. I like to live life as it comes to me, day by day.
