I’ve had the opportunity to speak to the younger generation quite a bit in the past few weeks. I absolutely love talking to younger people than me because there are so many things that I wish I had been told at that age. Start ‘em young and just imagine how they can change the world!
I tell them that..
You don’t need a passport to be a missionary.
I love showing these kids what God is giving me the opportunity to do. However, you don’t need to hop some oceans to share the love of God. School aged kids have buckets full of influence with their peers. Imagine how much encouragement and Joy they could spread to children around their own tables!
Now, now, now… y’all adults thought you were slipping out of this one huh?
Well good news is you are kind of in a school classroom too… it’s just called your office!
The mission field is EVERYWHERE! It can be scary to bring up Jesus in your work conversations at lunch…but I’m telling you… good fruit will come from it! You are the seed planter of a tree that will soon bloom in their life.
Sometimes, a word doesn’t even need to be spoken to show a little glimpse of how God loves us unconditionally. Live a life where others around you have no doubt that there is something different about you… something that they just have to ask about.
God will give you opportunities in your everyday life. You just have to be brave enough to open your eyes and ears to what He is showing you, and then obediently pursue it
