Hi friends!!
I’m finally making my first blog post! Yay!! It was only a matter of time…
I always feel like there’s this weird sort of pressure for people who want to start blogs. It has to be consistent, funny, creative, and profound 100% of the time. Why else would people even be interested in reading what you have to say?? There’s enough out there on the internet, and I don’t want to be another contributor of pointless noise. Sorry to be sort of a downer on my first entry, but these thoughts has been preventing me from starting this blog and sharing my journey. BUT! God is good and He has revealed to me that these are lies that Satan has been feeding me.
SO! With all of that being said, my main hope for this blog is to an online journal for me to track all that the Lord has taught me and will teach me over the next year and a half. Because once you put stuff out there on the internet, it never goes away, right? Good. Because if something happens to my computer or if I write a journal and it vanishes, this stuff will be out there forever.
Also, another goal of mine is that I hope some of you reading/keeping up with this blog feel encouraged by what the Lord teaches me and are inspired to go out an make a difference in the name of Christ. I promise to do my very best to obey Him and glorify Him in all of my blog entries, and pray that you all will be open to be used by Him.
As the race approaches, I grow more and more excited! There is still lots to do and I will do my best to keep you posted with all of the cool blessings God sends my way! As of today, I am 12.72% funded ($2,214.60)! Be praying that the Lord shows up in cool ways so He can be further glorified!!
