So it’s late and no one is probably up to read this, but it is officially the day that my squad and I launch for Nepal!
This past week/weekend has been great–reuniting with my squad, spending time with my family on the road, seeing new sites, and hearing more truth during launch!
Yet, at the same time, it has been difficult–losing my personal space, saying bye to my family, leaving the US, and being challenged to pack light (literally and metaphorically).
It is amazing, though, how all of these things have worked together. While I know this upcoming journey will not be easy, I know that it is going to be so good…and that’s kind of like life; we have our peaks and valleys, but life is good if we let it be.
I am so thankful for all the support from family, friends, and even strangers up until this point and I look forward to growing those relationships while I am on the race!
UPDATE:
Month 1 in Kathmandu, Nepal with this amazing ministry that helps restore women and children at risk in Asia. So stoked about this opportunity to work in an area that I feel specifically called to! If you can please pray for my team (team |undefined|) and for our ministry with TamiAsia, it would be much appreciated!
Also, I am currently 52% funded but I will need to raise the other half before December in order to finish the race with my squad and team. At this time, I am seeking 26 partners to commit to $50 a month until December, which would complete my funding! If you feel called to support me through monthly donations or a one time gift, you can do so by clicking the “Support Me” link at the top of this blog!
Blessings and love xx
