Ya’ll. I am so pumped!
Our mega-huge-multi-family-fundraiser-garage sale brought in $2, 360.69 after two long days in the Texas summer heat! But it was worth it!
Thanks to everyone’s help and the generosity of shoppers, I am officially halfway funded! EEP!
This is something I have been praying about and asking my team (team |undefined| – you should check ‘em out) to pray for as well! God is SO good! I have to say; I have felt an amazing peace about this whole thing!
When I first started looking at missions trips, I always felt like I couldn’t afford even the short term trips (which is a true statement, but I was looking at it the wrong way). I don’t know what made me think that I could raise $16,252 if I couldn’t even afford a short term mission, but this walk that I am on with Jesus has showed me that I don’t have to have the money—HE will provide for me!
It still just rocks my world how great God can be!
So thank to all my family, friends, teammates, squadmates, and supporters for praying for the success of this garage sale and my race in general! All of your prayers and hard work mean so much to me and I cannot wait to see how much more God will blow my mind over the next year!
With all the excitement, I would like to officially announce that I will be leaving for Nepal from Atlanta, Georgia with my squad on July 3rd! EEEPPPP!!!
P.S. The Next Step – Since I am officially halfway fundraised and will be leaving the country soon, I am officially beginning to seek monthly donors! This route is completely tax deductible!
