If there is one constant that I've realized over the past 8 month, it's that Jesus's love is fluid.
The life he brings when I'm "in my element" (as my best friend Kelsey calls it), is the same life I can have day to day. I don't have to be on a mission trip or a retreat to feel alive in Jesus. He's fluid.
His love can flow through my life continuously if I let it.
Learning that Jesus is always good no matter the circumstance has been a big one.
His love is always the same. It's not contingent on often I "feel" it. It's fluid day in and day out.
When I'm talking to girls who sell their bodies to men just trying to fill a void,
His love is fluid.
When I awake to a man that has broken into our room in South Africa,
His love is fluid
When I'm holding blissfully sleeping babies in my arms in Swaziland,
His love is fluid
When I'm worshipping with my squad on a rooftop in Nepal,
His love is fluid.
When I have no choice but to eat heaps and heaps of rice in India,
His love is fluid.
When I don't see the sun for a straight month in Ireland,
His love is fluid.
When my hands are calloused and covered in dirt from breaking bricks in Transnistria,
His love is fluid.
When I have no idea what I am doing with my life in Romania,
His love is fluid.
So that means when:
Your mother passes away
You and your spouse have separated
You just got pregnant
You just can't get pregnant
You feel like your 8-5 job is going to kill you
Your depression creeps back in
You work a job you feel alive and appreciated in
Your child has walked away from their faith
Your in your last semester of college and you have no idea what to do next
Jesus's love is fluid.
Jesus's love is the same. It covers every part of your life, and mine, every single day.
