That moment in India when:

we are asked to pray for a farmers sheep to multiply

-we’re told to preach for 45 minutes and right before we begin they tell us they’ve extended the time to an hour and a half

-the electricity goes out while we are preaching and they bring out candles to help us see in the pitch black

-we’re being swarmed by bugs and there’s nothing we can do about it

-the bugs start going down our shirt and there’s still nothing we can do about it

-we’ve lost count of how many bottles of oil we have prayed over

-we’re fed more rice in one meal than any stomach can ever hold

-we start praying that Jesus helps us eat just one more bit and cools our mouths down at the same time

-we are wiping tears from our eyes from how spicy the food is

-team time involves passing around Tums to help relieve the burn

-with every mosquito bite we find we yell out, “MALARIA”

-ants have infested our apartment

-people are constantly watching us eat (and we eat with our hands)

-people are constantly staring

-people are constantly taking pictures of us

-every house is another cup of chai tea (which is delicious)

-there only place to get toilet paper is an 80 kilometer drive away

-when four of your teammates have to get up mid meal for a bathroom break

-you can’t go on the porch without being followed
