So.
Much.
Has.
Happened.
I could sum the past months up in two words:
God Provides.
I’ve always known God is a god who provides but holy cow, I have never experienced it as first hand like I have recently.
My new favorite name for God: Jehovah-Jireh. The Lord who provides.
Through World Race showers (as my friends say–a baby shower minus the baby), generous and unexpected gifts from friends and even strangers, life long church friends, an unknown high schooler from GACS, and the countless friends and families that have poured into this adventure I am on.
Assuming all the monthly money that has been pledged continues to come through, I will be FULLY FUNDED by October.
That’s right, folks….I said the words I never would have thought would come so soon, or to be transparent would come at all. Talk about a big huge dose of humility.
It knocks me to my knees every time I think about the fact that people VALUE me enough to give in such big ways.
I always knew I would learn and grow in unimaginable ways during the Race, but I never ever could have imagined all that I’m learning right now in this season.
(Oh yeah, I’m graduating in a week. And my job ended today. And I have all my vaccinations. And I am getting gear.)
And each day I sit around and think, “Wow, God you really are SO good.”
His promises never fail. He always provides for his children. He loves us.
And I love you all. Thank you for all the encouragement and love and support and kind words yall are pouring into my life. It's something I'll never forget.

God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. –Ephesians 3:20
