Hello! From beautiful Idaho.
My Name is Austyn Sheree Chynoweth. Iam 23. I live at Home. I work 2 Jobs. I drive the Prerequisite Subaru Outback and Best of all I have an amazing Best friend! His name is Jesus. He has been with me in good and bad and in ways that i can not thank him enough. Even-though I’ve known him all of my life, It wasn’t until about 2 years ago that a shift started to happen. He got tired of my Hot/Cold act… and quite frankly, I did too. So this came to me.

Ouch! But sometimes, its what we don’t want to hear that needs to be said the most. It was the best thing for me to hear at that point in my life. I’d been such an awesome lukewarm christian at that point in my life that when I wanted to go deeper… I really didn’t know how to. Now, I’m not gonna say that it was one moment in time that I rededicated my life to The Lord. It was a slow change. I began to read my bible more and more and read more books and articles of faith based material. But I can truly say that THE moment I was really stepping out like Peter getting out of the boat kind of stepping out, was when I made the choice Not to go back to school. I know that some people think that it was one of the most foolish things I could have ever done because I was so close to finishing. I truly stand by what I did. Not only did I come home (the one place I never thought I’d live again) I came home with No game plan, No job, Nothing! Nothing but the love of my AMAZING mom (whom I wouldn’t be who I am with out her) the support of my church Family at Engage Truth & Calvary Chapel Boise and Most importantly the peace of the same God who created the beautiful Sawtooth mountains of my beloved Idaho.
Man, God is so good. Even when we are freaking out like Peter He tells us to have faith. That is what landed me here… at this moment sitting in my work (The District Coffee House) telling this story. Even when things seemed as if they were falling apart God has always had my life in his hands. What an amazing opportunity for me (a young single girl…with really no direction) to go and be God’s hands and feet.
Now…about this Blog… I can tell you that everything is going to spelled right all the time or that the grammar is going to be perfect. What i can promise you is that its going to be 100% me. Silly, Honest, Crazy all over the place! and Lets be real My mom will most likely be blowin up the Comment section!!! But I can’t wait to share this awesome trip around Asia with My Family (Engage Truth & The District ) to my Good Friend in Kansas & NYC & Washington! You know who you are 😉
