Nepal is beautiful!   This month my team is living in Kathmandu with a pastor and his family.  Our house is immediately surrounded by rice fields and neighbors, but when you go up to the roof you see the real beauty, mountains.  Mountains on every side, gorgeous mountains with clouds hugging them and if you look real close on a clear day, you can see snow covered mountains off in the distance.

The people here are also beautiful.  To be quite honest I feel blessed just to see this place.  And for the second month in a row, the women wear Punjabis which means I get to wear pajama pants everywhere I go and it’s culturally, perfectly acceptable.   So not only, is this the most beautiful place, but also one of the most comfortable.

Our ministry this month is to help out the pastor and his church in whatever way is needed.  It’s pretty random and I quite enjoy it.  We go to prayer meetings twice a week, a women’s bible study once a week, church every Saturday (not Sunday), hike up the mountains and pray for people and places, cut the grass around the church with a bent machete, and I’m sure there will be many more things I can add to that list as the month goes on (it’s only day four).
