My thoughts today mainly consisted of the Yezidi and Christian women and children that are being displaced by ISIS. Girls as young as 9 years of age being sold for $170 to these ISIS pigs. They are being beaten and forced into sex slavery and then having an operation to “”restore” her virginity” for their next owner.
What kind of person does such a thing?
ISIS legitimately believe that they have a religious right to take these “Infidel” little girls as sexual slaves. My heart breaks for these refugee women and children and the Holy Spirit is urging me to do something about it. I want to pack up and go to their rescue – to bring them love – Preemptive Love.
I ask myself, “What can I do?” How can I show them the LOVE and PEACE that they are longing for in the midst of this culture war?
PRAYER!
The Lord has put these specific children of God on my heart and that is just what I am going to do.
Things to Pray for:
Yezidi Women and Children
Christian Women and Children
3 million displaced
For Hope
Joy in a time of suffering
Holy Spirit Covering
Daesh
What is Daesh?
I had recently read a blog where a woman had left the safety of her home to love a people that are being displaced by ISIS. She mentions that the people being displaced do not call them ISIS or ISIL but they call them “Daesh” – someone who crushes something underfoot.
Even though I called them “pigs,” I can’t help but think about how disgusting and appalling they are. I am learning more and more of the Heart of God and this is something that has been hard for me to do.
1 John 4:7-21 is on point! This verse cross referenced with 1 Corinthians 13 is the reason I am praying for the men (& women) of Daesh.
God created you and me, and God also created the men and women who are savagely raping and killing innocent people (Psalm 139:13-14). Therefore, I believe that all people have a God given purpose in this World, so I will love them just as HE loves them. I am committed to the truths of God’s Word & I am to “LOVE my enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in Heaven.” (Matthew 5:43-48).
“I have heard you O’ Lord (Luke 6:27), I pray that others hear you too!

I had originally wrote this in my journal about a week ago and I am still adamant about praying for these children of God. Please join me!
