Hi Squad,

Here are a few updated policies we will be enforcing with your squad. Please look over them and become familar with what is expected of you and when it is expected. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Shannon.

Medication:
For those of you taking prescription meds with you on the Race we have new information for you regarding how much medication you need to take or have delivered to you throughout the year. Our staff will fly out to meet your squad every four months, therefore it is pertinent that you start the Race with at least four months worth of medication and make arrangements accordingly throughout the year. Your family or whoever is sending you your medication throughout the year needs to contact our admissions department at 770-983-1060 to figure out what address they need to send the package to.  Remember, they need to send 4 months worth of medication at a time.

Medical Releases:

If you have any medical conditions listed on your application and your interviewer told you that you would need a medical release, you need to have your release in before training camp.  At training camp we will have a special meeting where we go over important information that you will need to know.  If for some reason you do not see your medical release form on your admissions page, call us right away so we can upload that for you.

Counselor Releases:
If your interviewer told you that you need a counselor release, you must have your release in before training camp.  If they gave you any conditions to your acceptance, like you have to check in with AIM staff or your accountability person at home, we will follow through to make sure you have fulfilled your responsibilities.  It is important to us that we set you up for success in that you are in a good place before departing.
