Hello and welcome to your team blog site!
The purpose of this blog site is so that you guys can get to know each other and for us to get to know you! We will also be posting blogs on this site with information that you need to know to better prepare you for your World Race trip.
Every week, we will concentrate on an area of items and/or information that you need to know or have in to us before you can launch on your World Race. Below is a checklist of items or information with their expected deadlines (Please be sure to have these things completed before the due date).
- Before April 8, 2011, your TRAVEL TO CAMP information is due; and read about POWER OF ATTORNEY AND LIVING WILL.
- Before April 15, 2011, your PERSONALITY TESTS results are due; and read about MONEY AND SUPPORT

Before April 29, 2011, your MEDICAL is due; and read about EMERGENCIES.
- Before May 6, 2011, your INSURANCE is due.
We expect you to be responsible in completing these tasks on time and to also read and understand the information that we provide you on this team blog site.
Every squad is also assigned a Support Coach. Your support coach has not been assigned yet. We will post his/her information as soon as possible.
Below are your support goal deadlines:
- Before Training Camp – 20%
- July 21, 2011 – 40%
- October 21, 2011 – 70%
- January 21, 2012 – 100%
These deadlines are your bare minimum amounts that we ask you to have in order to continue on the Race. Once the cost of your trip is announced, we will give you exact amounts. If you find you are struggling to reach these goals, then it is your responsibility to contact your Support Coach. He/she is here to assist and encourage you. You want to be sure to maintain great communication with him/her so that he/she can better assist you.

HINT: When you call our offices and we don't answer, please leave a message that includes your first AND last name, what Race you are a part of, a short message, and a phone number to reach you at. We get many phone calls that sound like this; "Hey! This is Steph! I was calling you about a question! Please call me back!" This is not a good example of a phone call. Please help us out by giving us a few more details. Thanks!
