Well, I guess I’m a little behind, considering that I’m about to write my Romanian blog and we’ve already been here for three weeks…oopsies, better late than never I guess.  🙂  So yes, my team has been living in the small villiage of Viila Tecii here in Romania and it has been amazing because we are here with the January squad which is in their ninth month of the trip.  So we got to hear all their crazy stories and get a lot of good advice.  My team is living with a young couple named Adi and Sunda and their two year old son David.  We haven’t actually had ministry planned out for us so we’ve had to be kind of creative in figuring out how to reach out to the town.  We did some house visits and just asked people what we could do to help them.  We helped one family clear a field, we did a kids bible club, cleaned up some trash, our guys poured some concrete floors, and we helped build a shower for our host family.  We also did some things with the church, we had a special women’s night and just pretty much did whatever we could find to do.  This morning I was blessed to attend a baptism service for three men in the villiage one of whom is the father-in-law of Adi our host.  It is absolutely beautiful here in the mountains of Romania and it’s going to be hard to leave tomorrow for Brassov, but it’s also exciting because we are going to a conference called the awakening where all the World Racers currently on the field, as well as some World Race alumni will be there for worship and teaching, I think there’s about 250 of us in all.
Here’s a lovely picture of me that makes it look like I’m working so hard, but there was actually almost no cement in the bucket, our photographer insisted that we get a picture of everyone helping 😛
