Here’s a quick recap of my birthday here in Thailand:

I woke up early to run with Brittani.
I got to shower, wash my hair, AND shave my legs (it’s kind of a big deal).
We ate legit naan for breakfast and I had a cup of Burmese tea.
We prayer walked through a Muslim community where Doug, Andrew, and I befriended & prayed for a 101 year old man and got invited into another man’s home where we sat and chatted with him over a glass of cold water.
We visited the Thailand/Burma border and prayer walked along No Man’s Land (an area of land between Thailand and Burma that neither country governs yet many people still call home because they cannot enter either country legally).
I had a 7 Eleven ham & cheese sandwich and an iced coffee for lunch.
I got to ride a bike through the streets if Mae Sot.
We began planning a community outreach project.
We had a spontaneous worship session in the bike shop (which has excellent acoustics).
I sat in a coffee shop to continue training/just talk about things that actually matter with my new teammates (and we felt the earthquake as we sat there!).
Had dinner with two teams here in Mae Sot (they bought me donuts! And other delicious treats. Plus had a super sweet card for me ??).
And I got to talk to my daddy on the phone.

Basically it’s been the best day ever. And I couldn’t have planned it better if I tried.
My favorite part though is knowing that God orchestrated all of it. It’s like He knows the desires of my heart or something… Hah! (Psalm 37:4 y’all).
It’s so fun to see Him in even the littlest things. And it’s so fun to think He does this stuff all the time, not just for my birthday.
And He does it for each of you too! So just sit back and enjoy every little thing that happens today because He LOVES to love you. And He does it so well.
