In November, my World Race team worked at a refugee camp in Eidomeni, Greece. A few days after we arrived, Macedonia closed their borders to all who were not from Syria, Afghanistan, or Iraq.

As of this week, refugees are being deported from Greece to Turkey. Some of the refugees seen in this video have, thankfully, reached Europe and received asylum in countries like Germany and Italy. Friends of mine have settled in to new homes, jobs, and new lives.

No Man Is An Island is a series that focuses on those nationalities who are currently stuck at the refugee camp in Eidomeni, Greece. These men, women, and children have all been brought together. Despite their differences, they all long for a chance at a better life. They are all connected, and even though those connections are horrible things like war, they can come together in hope that they will some day reach their goal.
