Last weekend, our team went to the local Cabbage Festival, complete with one of the craziest carnival rides I’ve ever experienced. We ate cotton candy, tried the local wine, and munched on yummy crepes. It was our first time being fully immersed in the culture without our ministry hosts to translate for us. We made a few friends, and had lots of laughs. And once the man working the ride learned we were American, he let us ride as many times as we wanted for free. Festivals are super common here – occurring about once or twice a week! We’ve already been to one more since the Cabbage Fest, so be sure to stay tuned for more stories.
