Happy Thursday!
While I am on this journey of change and preparing for my World Race, I have realized I have a LOT to be thankful for! So today on thankful thursday I wanted to give thanks to the amazing people in my life who have made me who I am today.
Mom and Dad- Thanks for raising me to be a good person and for always allowing me to follow my dreams. You've never put a ceiling on how far my dreams can take me and you've always supported me in all my journeys! I am so blessed to have the greatest support system from you guys while I am take this journey. I couldn't do it without y'all.
Wayne- Thanks for taking care of Mom and always being her support system. Thanks for taking care of me and chuck when you didn't have to and providing us with such a blessed life.
Papa Dan- Thanks for raising me up as a football and basketball fanatic. I am so grateful for all the games you've taken me to and I wouldn't trade those Saturdays watching Furman play football for anything in this world. They really shaped me growing up and I think that they are a huge reason I've turned out the way I have.
Kay Kay– Thanks for letting me steal your spot at games, for always listening and never judging, and for being a grandmother to so many other young people. Thanks for taking care of mean old papa when he was sick, we all know it couldn't have been easy! And thanks for being so supportive with this journey, I know you get worry with everything I do but your peace with this has been amazing and I am so grateful for your support!
Justin- See, I didn't forget about you! First off, Happy Anniversary! This year has been so amazing and I am so grateful for everything you've taught me in the past year. Thanks for never giving up on me, seeing my true potential, and pushing me to be the best person that I can be. You're so good to me even when I don't deserve it.
Mickey- Thanks for being my second mom here in West Virginia. Thanks for not firing me and for always making me laugh. And thanks for bringing me into your home and always treating me like family! I love you and Tom for feeding me good, homecooked meals and never being angry when I eat all the carrots!
Tess- There is no denying that God brought us together. It's amazing how things work out and how the 4 weeks we've spent together, we've been through more than I think I have with anyone else. I am so grateful for our friendship and I am blessed by it everyday. Love you 🙂
R-Squad- You guys rock. Thanks for the prayers, the skype calls, the letters, and the love that you guys have. I have never seen anything like this before and I am so blessed to get to be on this squad and I can't wait to begin this adventure with you guys.
