A friend of mine wrote this to me after I sent out my e-mail regarding
discipline. I thought these we powerful words, and was just able to
read them the other day, as I am finally able to communicate with
people from home. (Hope you don’t mind me sharing these JoAnn!) Good
stuff!
John 17:15-18
15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that
You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world,
just as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your
word is truth.
Isa 54:5-6
For your Maker is your husband,
The Lord of hosts is His name;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel;
He is called the God of the whole earth.

The Lord is teaching us, through our daily lives, that though our
physical bodies are here…our life is in Him. He meets our need for
escape from the pressures, our need for peace of mind, our need for
companionship, intimacy, and love. He has is all…every ounce of it.
And it is far greater than anything this world has to offer us. Go
deeper.
