Miracles

It has taken me a very long time to figure out what to write for
this blog. I knew God has something in mind, and after this weekend, I
knew this was what he had in mind.

 

Long story short, my mom has been very sick for 10 years now. This
past week she spend a day in the ER due to an infection she had. She
became so sick later in the week that she went to the doctor, where she
found out she had MRSA, a very contagious staph infection. Later Friday
evening, she was called and told it had contaminated her blood and if
she felt any worse to go to the ER. I headed home after hearing the
news and she went to the hospital where she spend the weekend until
last evening. While visiting her in the hospital, the doctor came in
and told her she should have been so much more sick than she was with
this infection in her blood. He said she should have had a very high
fever, chills, and would have been very “out of it” meaning she should
have been close to or been in a coma.

 

I believe the Lord continues to perform miracles and that he
constantly takes care of his children. There is no other explanation
for what happened this past week with my mom. God deserves all glory
and credit for what he has done! Daily he provides miracles and
blessings on each of us. Sometimes they are hard to see and we miss
them, but today I find myself completely greatful for this miracle he
has provided in my mom!!
