I can't whistle. This has been my shameful not-so-secret for years. Not so secret because every time I hear someone whistling, I try it too. It comes out as a pathetic flat little hoot- like a sick owl. Thinking of what it will be like to not have a job for a year, I started thinking 'what will I do with myself?'.

Here's some goals I have for this year, whistling included:

To learn how to whistle-tweet, tweet!
To have an opportunity to cook meals for my team and housemates, cause I love to serve others by filling bellies with tasty treats
To learn and remember new recipes at each place we live

To find something small and portable to remind me of each country/village we visit- a leaf, a flower, a picture, something…
To learn indigenous crafts form each country we live in.

To stretch and meditate for 5 min each, daily
To get in the habit of making exercise a part of my daily life- to have fun with it!

Get into the habit of starting and finishing my day with God- praying and praising Him
To be a blessing to my teammates
To learn how to lead by example, not by giving directions
To regain some sweetness, to not be so hard

To let others fight for me
To stop fighting for myself,(against others)  because God and my amigas have got my back=

To have fun, play and laugh every single day
I purposefully saved that one for last cause it is so key. I think that I am too serious, and fear I have forgotten how to play, like Peter Banning in Hook. I'm looking forward to meeting some lost boys who will help me find my magic again, and remember how to fly.

Things I'm really looking forward to:

~Becoming friends with 5 amazing women
~Blessing people around the world with our hearts, hands and most importantly showing how much God adores each and every one of us.
~Bringing hope through stories, ministry and prayer
~Eating delicious local cuisine, in 11 countries!
~Meeting new friends
~Becoming an even more solid friend to those I am already blessed with
~Learning things about myself that I don't know I don't know:)
~Preparation to be fabulous wife and mommy to my future family
~Showing my family how INCREDIBLY MUCH God loves them

Thank you to EACH OF YOU who has contributed to this adventure. I am so increadibly grateful.
