Hopefully over the course of a year I will get better at writing these blogs. and once again. Thank you for your prayers. We have been INCREDIBLY blessed this first month at our ministry. We all have beds, a kitchen, showers (with hot water!), AND pillows. However, I pray that we not take advantage of this and really take it as a blessing.  I know that another team on our K squad had a pretty rough first week so we really have been blessed.
Just a rundown on what we’ve been doing…we have been working with a church called Causeway Coast Vineyard church in Coleraine, Northern Ireland doing various community ministries as well as helping the church with cleaning, taking care of kids, VBS, etc.  Today we went around to local businesses and washed their windows for free just to share a bit of God’s love.  Last week we scrubbed the toilets, and we’ve been handing out lightbulbs and passing out fliers for a thing called the 58 project which provides free food for meals to the community.  It really has been amazing.

I know that none of us know what lies ahead, but it’s definitely a bit easier to take it day by day. I know that God has called me to do this and I’m so thankful for it. Thankful that He CHOSE me and never let go of me. Even when I yelled at Him, even when I thought it was too much money to raise, even when I almost went to the AIM staff to tell them that I didn’t really think The World Race was what God was calling me to. And now I am here, and positively grateful for it. We have already learned so much, and lately a lot of it has been the Kingdom authority that IS in us. It isn’t something we, as Christians, have to pray for more of. One of the staff members at Causeway Coast Vineyard said that we need to pray more of “God reveal the authority that I already have because of You” and to me its comforting to know that when we face demons, when we get sick, when we miss home so bad it hurts, we have God’s authority IN us and Jesus is SO much bigger than satan, any demon, sickness, or feeling.  I’m so excited to fall even further into His arms of grace.  🙂

Also if you haven’t had a chance to check out other team members blogs I encourage you to do so. I know Daina Norusis and Ashley Higgins have videos up and they’re both pretty amazing!  Thank you all for your support and encouragement.  And an update…we leave for Romania on September 1 so keep us in your prayers for safe travel for us and our luggage!

i love you all.
