Walking in town tonight.. I met a Romanian man named Florine.. He was so sweet just sitting on the bridge in a sleeping bag with a cup… He asked for money, but I didn't have any.. I apologized and kept walking.. but I knew I needed to help him..

I ask my friend if we could back.. We went back and just started a weak conversation (i don't remember much Romanian) I gathered that he wanted food.. I asked my friend if I could have some money.. he agreed and we bought Florine a hot meal and water… He scarfed it down! it was such a beautiful sight!

Later that night I found 2 five euro bills in my pocket! Right then we passed a man asking for one euro for a hostel… and I handed him a 5. His response, "God bless you"

Oh how the Lord has already blessed me!

This is not to toot my own horn.. because my flesh was cold (literally) and i just wanted to get to warmth.. but it was Jesus.. It is our duty as Christians to not just give… but

to feed the hungry! to clothe the naked! to heal the sick!

That is what this race has taught me… I was released from the World Race hours prior to these experiences.. these were not part of my World race ministry…

This is life.. this is the life that we as Christians have signed up for. Thank you Jesus for blessing me.. so that I can bless others!
