Ann-Rose is a beautiful mother of three. She resides in Carrefour with her husband. Her two sons are currently attending a university. Her daughter was studying medicine in Port-Au-Prince until the earthquake. The earthquake that changed all of their lives. The earthquake that took the life of Ann-Rose’s daughter. Ann-Rose is a teacher and a dressmaker, but neither of these can console her. She struggles to find joy in her days. She loves her sons, but when she sees them she can only think about how she is missing one. A missing daughter of Haiti.

Monique is a beautiful mom of 3. Like Ann-Rose, she has two sons and one daughter. Her two boys are young, eleven and under. Her daughter, Elizaboshla, is 20. When we met Monique she had just attended the church the night before for the first time in a couple of years. As we got to know her, we asked if we could pray for her. She agreed and welcomed us into her home. As tears began to fall from her eyes, she asked if we would pray for her daughter who did not agree with her lifestyle of Christianity and was currently working as a prostitute. A lost daughter of Haiti.
(Darlene, Chrisma, and Michaelson)
Chrisma is the God-fearing mother of Darlene. Darlene is the teenage mother of Micahelson. 16 year old Darlene had Michaelson less than one month ago. He is a beautiful boy. Joelle, Michaelson’s father, and Darlene have no intentions to get married in the future. Chrisma helps however she can. She loves her daughter and her grandson. Darlene had to drop out of school and admits that it is difficult to be a mom so early. A struggling daughter of Haiti.

Tamara is a blessing. She is a loyal member of the church and has the biggest servant’s heart. She helps us cook and clean and takes very good care of us. She loves the Lord and has a great sense of humor. Her mother is not a Christian. Her mother only feeds her once a week because of her decision to follow Christ. She still follows Him. A persecuted daughter of Haiti. Matt 5:10
