Training Camp has taken place. Lives have been changed. Teams have been formed. Leaders have been placed. We have been prepared…sorta.
I knew the Lord was preparing me for something.. something BIG. I wasn't sure what it was. But this summer I have been learning and growing SO much! I have been anticipating the revelation of where the Lord was going to use all of the things I hava been learning. Last week, that revelation took place.
Myself and 8 others were asked to lead a team within our squad. I didn't want to do it. I had even told someone before this moment that I didn't want to lead. But, I knew that I was suppose to. This is what the Lord has been preparing me for. Shortly after that we received a list of all the people we would be leading. I cannot wait to travel the world and tell everyone about Jesus alongside 6 amazing girls!!
We were given time to hang out with our team and come up with a team name. We began to throw out words that described us. Sisterhood. Strength. Apple of His Eye. Favor.
Immediately, Esther came to mind. Esther found favor in the eyes of everyone she came into contact with. I shared this verse with the team:
This identified so much with who we are! We could either sit back and let someone else go out to preach the gospel and change the world.. or maybe we were brought here for such a time as this!!
Everyone agreed that we were the ones to do it. We would not sit quiet.
Elated with this declaration, we rose to pay our bill only to find out that it had already been taken care of. FAVOR. The Lord confirmed that we were favored and that He would provide for us.
