So as you all have noticed, I have not written any blogs about this month. Usually I enjoy writing blogs and trying to paint a picture of what my life is like and to share with you the incredible things God is doing in me and the people around me. But despite my love of writing blogs, this month I accidentally on purpose did not write any. Every time I thought about writing I got bogged down by how much had happened. It has been really nice not having to blog about everything that is going on here And quite honestly there wasn’t a lot of free time to write blogs because I spent most of my time journaling.) I’m sorry though because that means you haven’t known what I’ve been up to!
God moved in so many simple yet huge ways. I do not wish to underestimate God and I think many times we do unwittingly. Let me clarify by saying that by simple I mean- to some it may seem like fate or just a random act of kindness, but to others(like my teammates and me) it is known without a doubt that God’s hand was at work.
I titled this blog ‘Right Where You Want Me’ because that’s exactly how I felt all month. If ever there was any uncertainty of that fact God smothered it very quickly with his divine appointments and provision. Vietnam has been by far one of my favorite months for so many reasons. We had freedom to go where the Spirit led (we had no schedule), confirmation after confirmation that God was by our side orchestrating friendships and opportunities, and challenges and struggles that led to growth.
As suggested by one of my lovely teammates I will post a link to a blog by another of my lovely teammates so that you will know a little about what we were up to this month. I will be thrilled to tell you even more about what happened when we are reunited face to face!
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. I know it takes a lot of time to read and comment on my blogs (especially when I’m on a writing kick.. who knows maybe this month was a nice break for you haha), but it means so much to me knowing that there are other people who want to share this journey with me and are cheering me on every step of the way. You have blessed me more than you know.
Here is a blog written by my fearless leader Dia aka Andrea. It is a delightful summary of our month. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I did.
If you would like to read more about Vietnam my other teammates also wrote very good blogs about our time. Or if you would like to follow along with them in the future, here are their blog sites:
Our crazy journey to Honduras starts tomorrow night. I must admit I’m excited for the plane rides 🙂 Please keep us in your prayers. Much love to you all.
