Wow. I can`t believe the first month of Africa is over already. It ended with tears that I didn’t expect to cry. I learned much and loved much. Although Kenya was the hardest month so far it was also one of the best. Not really knowing what to expect from Africa I was blown away. God taught me so much despite all of the hardships that were sent our way. I faced my fears, I set my short comings and feelings aside and let God do the work through me. Tired and desiring to be in ministry or not, I offered myself as a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through, and He did.
God has really done an amazing work in our whole squad this past month. He knew what He was doing when He switched our teams around because it made a world of difference. God is in control and rightly so. He works through us despite our fleshly feelings and desires if we give ourselves to Him. We are the living sacrifice He so desires. He did incredible things through us this month and He can do the same in you if you open yourself up to Him. Be encouraged, I am.
