After our door to door ministry yesterday, we had an evening of street ministry planned. We set up a stage on the side of the road, with speakers, mics and instruments. Worship music started off the festivities and Kim and I were pulled up on stage to sing.  It felt kind of like we were doing karaoke. We hadn’t practiced before hand, we had no idea what songs they were going to sing. We either had to sing the words from memory, guess them or make up our own. Although we resisted at first, we ended up really enjoying our time praising the Lord with fellow believers and onlookers. Some singing in Romanian, some in Hungarian and some in English, all praising the same heavenly father.
The next event of the night were skits. (I’m sure the videos will be posted soon!)  Everyone seemed to really enjoy them. We had 3 skits on the agenda, a fun one and two with a message. In between the two purposeful ones a couple girls from Shofar gave their testimonies and Kevin gave a short message. All of that was followed by more worship, this time even more joyfilled because there were a few people who had accepted Christ! What an uplifting night. We all went home with high spirits, smiling face… and a lot of energy 🙂
