I leave for the world in 11 days now. I am so incredibly excited, nervous, happy, sad, did I mention excited?
As I am looking at the packing list and my notes from camp at things I still need or all the things I still need to get done, I start to think…why didn’t I get these things a long time ago? Time flew by and I’m not entirely sure where the months since I applied for the race went.
I’m starting to get a little bit nervous and sad because I know that goodbyes are coming soon. In fact, I am currently in Madison saying goodbye to some of my Madtown Supporters. I can’t think about not seeing my crazy and amazing family for 11 months straight.
And then there is the excited part of me. I AM TRAVELING THE WORLD FOR 11 MONTHS!! This is so crazy…how on earth did I get here? I get to travel the world, see culture, see gross foods, see amazing new people. I get to live life with 11 different people groups that are nothing like what I’m used to. What an amazing opportunity.
So as I say goodbye to all of my supporters…you need to know a few things. 1) I love you so much. 2) I will miss seeing all of your faces. 3) I can’t thank you enough for helping me get here. 4). I love you so much. 5) I will be praying for all of you and will be reading your messages on my blog as often as I can!! Two ways: the contact me tab or just leave a comment!
