On November 3rd I decided to try and make it through school because I was tired of staying home sick. That day I helped give my kids their final math exams. Then they practiced their Jingle Bells dance for their performance at graduation. On the 4th they had their reading and national symbol exams. While they practiced for graduation I gave out make-up exams for the kids who had been absent. Later that day I went into town with Kelly to do crafts and teach english to the kids in the central square of Antigua. On Thursday the 5th the kids played review games on their English that they learned throughout the school year. Also, they decorated their cover pages for their final exams. I also gave make-up grammar exams for the kids who were absent on Monday. On the 6th we did crafts during English class and then they finished their grammar books. When I got home that day my fever got to 102 so I had to stay in bed that Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. On Tuesday the 10th I had to go to the doctor in Guatemala City. They gave me seven different medications. It turns out that I had bronchitis, a bacterial parasite, and inflamed tonsils. I went back to school on the 11th. That day they went over songs and animals in English. I also continued to give make-up exams while the kids finished their work books. On the 12th they practiced Jingle Bells and their dances for graduation.  Then we did a Christmas craft and made Santa Clauses.  On the 13th the kids practiced for graduation then we played for the rest of the day. I gave about thirty piggy back rides. On the weekend of the 14th and the 15th we all went to Lake Atitlan. It was a fun weekend of relaxing, tubing, kyacking, and swimming. Yesterday was my last Monday at the school teaching as it is their last week of school. We did coloring in english class and then made snowman crafts. Today I had to go back to the doctor in Guatemala City. They prescribed me two more medications and said that I should feel better in a week. The rest of the people at the house have been sanding/really painting the bus, doing construction on a widow’s house,  and running vacation bible school.
