This blog is kind of selfish, so forgive me. It is something that is really important to me and I know you, as my supporters, enjoy helping and loving on people monetarily. I have two teammates who still need to meet their next deadline of $11,000 by October 1st. They are both pretty close but I know you guys can help them get there…even surpass the deadline.

Let me tell you a little bit about Kendra. Her heart is beautiful. I see it’s beauty when we are assigned something specific. Her willingness to pick up a shy kid out of a crowd to “crack” them is unlike any other. The way she jumps in where ever is needed, even noticing when something needs to be done and doing it. For example; singing wouldn’t be her first pick on the todo list…in fact, it’d probably be her last, but when we found out we were in charge of leading over 100 people in spanish worship, she was the first to stop what she was doing and practice the songs she picked out. Not to mention, she actually did it. I know that God will provide the funds for her to make the deadline, I pray that you’ll choose to be a part of what God is doing in her life. In her Race.

Let me tell you a little bit about Meghan. First of all, she’s my team leader and a lot of my growth has been spurred on by her. She leads our team so well, so gently. She is an amazing woman of God. The way He speaks to her is unlike any other. She is constantly asking God what he has for our team and holds us to His standard. Megs loves to serve so much that we have had to encourage her to take her one half-day off a week, which shows her eagerness to serve. She is such a good leader that she often leads by example. She doesn’t have to tell us what to do, she gets up and does it and we automatically follow. She is someone I respect so deeply. I know Meghan will make her deadline, I pray that you’ll choose to be a part of what God is going to do in her leadership on this Race.
