I decided to do a photo blog for the time I spent washing kids in the plaza because the pictures say more than what I could write in this blog….
First, the kids form a line to get their hair shampooed and conditioned….

Then, we comb through their hair (sometimes the older ones want to do it themselves)

Then, we wash their bodies
And more combing…
And more washing…
Then we play 🙂
Finally, we have clean kids 🙂
The main purpose of the kid washing is for kids who do not have the resources to wash themselves often. Most of the kids have lice too. We worked with the organization IOU (International Orphan Unit…I think) who helps to donate the resources the kids need like, brushes, shampoo and conditioner and hair ties. I only got to participate once but it was a great experience!
