Before coming to Romania, the I Squad spent five days debriefing in Galway, Ireland. It was so refreshing to spend quiet time with God in the midst of the breathtaking beauty of Ireland’s coast and hills. I always feel closer to God when I am out in nature, and sitting on the top of a cliff on a small island in the middle of Galway Bay is about as close to nature as you can get. We also had free time to explore Galway and the surrounding countryside. A group of us were even able to take a day-long tour of the Burren countryside and then see the Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs were one of the most beautiful and inspiring things I have ever seen. In summary, our time in Ireland brought some much-needed rest and refreshment. We were then able to fly to Romania recharged and ready for another month of ministry. Enough words though. Here are some pictures of my Irish experience.
