The time has finally arrived for us to say our first goodbye of the race. On Monday morning we said our farewells to Nancy – our contact in Camotan – and Ana and Marcos, who have graciously cooked all of our meals these past three weeks. It is so amazing to think that we have been in Guatemala a whole month already.
Saying farewell has brought mixed feelings for me. On the one hand, I am sad to have to say goodbye to all the wonderful people who have opened up their hearts and homes to us. I would love to be able to spend more time with these beautiful individuals who have blessed our teams so richly. On the other hand, however, I am excited to see where God will lead us this next month in Nicaragua. I have grown so much this month, and I know that God will continue to grow and stretch me even further as I continue this journey with Him. During these next few days of transition, we would appreciate your prayers in the following areas:
– That our ministry efforts would produce lasting fruit that remains in the hearts of each individual we have come in contact with this past month, and that God would continue to draw these people ever closer to Him.
– For safe travels to Nicaragua for our squad. Due to the recent coup in Honduras, we will be spending the next few days in Antigua and then traveling to Nicaragua.
– That God would strengthen us for His work to come and give us the grace we need to make this transition as smooth as possible.
Thank you so much for your continued prayers! You all are in my heart and prayers too! May God richly bless you as you continue to pursue the Father’s heart. Below is a short video showing some of the highlights of this month.
