It’s been a long time coming for me to write this Bio.
Well, I first discovered the World Race over a year ago at my small group bible study. After researching information on the World Race, I still can’t believe it…..the World Race is an answer to prayers. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures, and to put a cherry on top of that, I will get to share the love of Jesus with others. So crazy!
As excited for this journey as I am, I’m also very nervous. I can’t even begin to imagine the things I will see, emotions I will experience, let alone how God will use me. I’m nervous to leave the comforts of my life, but so excited that God chose me for such an experience. Which reminds me…this trip isn’t even about me. This may very well be the adventure of my lifetime, however in the end it’s not about me, but God’s work through me. So Amen to that!
Well since this is a bio page, here are a few facts about me:
– I’m the oldest of 3 girls
– My niece (the cute baby in my pic) is my heart and joy…I will miss her terribly!
– I speak Spanish, not fluent but close enough
– I love a good film just as much as a good book (action, mystery, thriller, etc)
– Stevie Wonder is my all time favorite musician
– I have a very odd sneeze that always makes people turn and look at me in disbelief, “Was that a real sneeze?”
– I love watching and playing sports
– Salsa dancing is so much fun!..even though I’m not the greatest at it
– I’ve been known to pull off a good prank or two in my day….lol beware! (j/k)
– I absolutely LOVE a good laugh, especially the one’s where your stomach hurts and eyes water. hehe
– I love the fact that Jesus died for me. And if I were the only person on this earth, He still would have done it. No greater love.
