- 3 – 4 meals at a fast food restaurant
- 3 gallons of gas
- 8 pieces of candy at the grocery store
- 1 movie ticket
- 1 game of bowling
- 9 Redbox movies
What does $11 buy me?
Surprisingly, $11 packs quite a punch while on the field! While I am on the race, I am going to be living on a VERY limited budget. Most of the time I will be living in a tent, without running water, eating the same meal 3 times a day, and showering maybe a few times a week with a bucket. Because of these simple living conditions, I will be able to live on a very LOW budget, which means that your $11 can go a LONG way in supporting me.
- 3 FULL days of food ($3.75/day)
- 2 FULL days of lodging ($5.25/day)
- 2 days of public transportation ($4/day)
My goal in this fundraiser is to find 111 people who are willing to donate $11 towards my 11 month journey and tell 11 of their friends or family about it. That is 111 people who are willing to donate $1 per month of my trip. To keep with the “11” trend, this fundraiser will begin on April 11th and end on May 11th. If 111 people donate $11, you together will have contributed $1,221! That’s over 13% of the full amount! I know that seems like a huge goal but to a God who created the ENTIRE UNIVERSE in 6 days, this is NOTHING.
