Hello out there!!!
Welcome to my blog and thank you for joining me on this amazing journey I’m about to enter into. I pray I can share my heart to each and every one of you and bring you along to each of the countries I am in.
So let me begin: WHO IS THIS ASHLEY FUGITT anyway!!
My name is Ashley and I’m 26 years old. I was born in Des Moines, Iowa but grew up in the wonderful state of Colorado! I am currently a preschool teacher at a private school in Longmont. I have a class of 20 two year olds that keep me on my toes! When I tell most people that I’m a preschool teacher they start to laugh…but I love my kiddos!
I believe I have the best family in the world! I am very lucky to have a strong Christian family who is supporting me on this journey! I love my family! We are so not normal and are always busy BUT we stick together and love God! I know we will get through anything! My parents are amazing…my dad and mom would do anything for anyone! My younger brother, Trent and his wife Caryn are expecting their first child in May. I cannot wait to meet my nephew, Carter Michael Fugitt! My younger sister, Chelsea is my best friend and I don’t know what I would do without her! We also have 2 very spoiled dogs and 1 very spoiled cat.
So how about some random facts you might want to know about me:
I am very quiet but once you get to know me I open up very easily.
I LOVE sunsets!
I don’t take friendships for granted
I love to sing and listen to music! I’ll listen to all kinds of music….expect for country
I LOVE my church family! Journey Community Church has been a blessing!!!
My favorite colors are green and pink!
I enjoy baking!
I love kids! Hearing a child's laugh is my favorite sound!
I love rain, thunder and lightning
My favorite candy is sour patches
I love playing card and hanging out at home with friends
I am a MOVIE nut!!!
My all time favorite actor is Johnny Depp!
I love to people watch!
I use a lot of “!!!!” when I type!
I am not a morning person!
I would much rather be cold than hot!
I love talking to people and listening to them!
My favorite bible verse right now is Luke 1:37 “For nothing is impossible with God”
I love to read
I cannot wait for September to come!!!!
So I guess that is a glimpse of who I am. I am your average girl who LOVES her Lord and Savior! I am no one fancy, just thrilled that God has allowed me to go on this 11 month trip! I can rely on God no matter what! He is there when I am angry, sad, broken, happy, and speechless! He listens when I need Him to and also there when I need comfort!
