Mish mash. That's a great way to describe this blog. I came on the World Race with no expectations. Little did I know that expecting nothing would lead to great "somethings". This journey thus far has been a whirlwind. From working at the "dump", worshipping Jesus with hundreds of precious filipino children, praying for the sick and weary, experiencing sickness like I never have before, and being challenged to live out of faith and not walk in fear is just a little taste of what this first month of the World Race has been like.

I give props to Jesus daily for giving me the strength to carry on. I continuously pray for God to give us direction here. To show us and teach us what it is that He has for us this month.

This is just a quick little video that I threw together. At the beginning children that are waiting in line for a feeding on sunday morning say "Hello World Race" followed by "Team LOL (they accidently repeated LOL twice) We love you". So precious. Various clips are dispersed throughout the film after that. One segment in particular is Pastor Dodo's (the Pastor of PCF) youngest daughter, Florinda. She's singing "I am a Friend of God" and her oldest brother Ariel is playing guitar.

That night, right before she sang, Ariel shared his testimony with us. A few years ago he found out that he had cancer in his right leg. He took chemotherapy for some time, but eventually decided to stop taking it because it made all his hair fall out and it made him really sick. The doctors told him that they couldn't do anything more to cure him if he refused treatment and that he would soon die. He began praying daily that the Lord would heal him. Not too long after, he was able to walk on his leg again. God had healed him. Praise Jesus! We prayed over him that he would continue to walk in that healing. He is a man of joy and lots of smiles. He loves the Lord and radiates Him wherever he goes.

Continue to pray for my team! Pray for our health and strength! Pray that we can always bring glory to the Lord and light to the darkness!
