So it’s now month 10. How time flies when you are having fun. We made it after a long couple travel days to Ukraine. Let me tell you, I’ve never experienced culture shock like this before. Smooth roads. Tall buildings. White people. Fashion. Cars in their lane. No horns. High speed Internet. I didn’t know what do think or do. Ukraine is great and I like it a lot.

This month we are living with the MacDonald family. They are American missionaries who have been living and serving in Ukraine for six years now. They have 12 kids and 5 of them are currently living at home. The kids are great. It makes me feel like I’m living back at home with my siblings. The family lives with the people and love on the locals. They do eyeglass clinics where they give out free glasses to people and they also run softball clinics. And minister in lots of other ways It’s fun. I love it here.

We’ve gone to a hospital to pray for people and hand out Bibles. We’ve done some farming. We’ve done eyeglass clinics and shown Christian movies. We’ve played games with kids and loved on people. And we’ve eaten lots of good food! God is doing some great things here through the MacDonald family!

I love Ukraine. Below are some pictures of our time so far…

The men grilling us some yummy meat!
Gotta love a good ole fashion barbeque! This is the first time in 9 months that we’ve seen grass 🙂
