Take the Time

This month has been all about listening to God and acting on
it and then Him being faithful. God has been doing crazy things with my team.
He has been speaking to us in ways that we never could have imagined and been
so faithful. He’s confirmed everything that we’ve heard from Him. God is
awesome like that!

So, my team arrived in Chennai,
India on the 29^th
of March and it was like 105 degrees and humid. I was sweating like crazy! We
had a rough start to the month. A couple days into the month my teammate,
Kelly, heard the Lord was calling her to ministry back in America and
she’d be leaving the next day. It hit our team really hard. Before she left we
spent a lot of time in prayer and God revealed to us that this was His calling
for her and gave us so much peace about her decision and support her 110
percent. Even today I got a word from the Lord while worshiping that America is the
place for her. God is that cool.

 

God didn’t stop speaking to our team there. He revealed so
much more to us. God really laid it on my heart that the location we were at
was not where He wanted us to be. I didn’t really know what that meant so I
mentioned it to my team. My team leader, Amy, had been feeling the same way so
we decided to pray about it and listen to the Lord.

 

I had prayed that God would reveal His will for us through a
dream or vision. Amy prayed that God would speak directly to Jenny. Not knowing
what we had been praying for, Jenny went to take a nap and asked God to give
her a prophetic dream because she’d never had one. Well, because God is so
awesome, he delivered and Jenny got a dream. She shared it with us and after
praying some more as a team we were able to interpret it which was totally a
God thing.

 

We knew that God wanted us to go to a different ministry and
that Chennai was not the city He wanted us to be in. Now we just needed God to
tell us where He wanted us. Well, because God is so awesome, He delivered again
and revealed a ministry to my teammate, Michelle. Again, a total God thing.

 

So we knew God’s desire was for us to leave Chennai. And we
knew what ministry he wanted us to join. Now we just needed to know when He
wanted us to leave. So, like any World Racer would do, we prayed for an answer
from God. And, because God is so awesome, he gave my teammate a dream. A dream
that seemed to be crazy, but after much prayer and a little fasting as a team
God gave us the interpretation. A total God thing.
 

So, that is how we ended up riding a 6 ½ hour bus to Bangalore to join another
team on our squad. God has confirmed many times through different situations,
dreams, visions, etc that this is the ministry He chose for us.
