Things I’ve Realized Thus Far
We are
not missionaries to bring God to a country. God is already here. We just
get to work alongside already established ministry to help make disciples
of God.

Whenever
we start to get comfortable in a country it’s time to leave. If you know
how to get home from the train station it probably means that you’ll be
leaving within the next couple days for the next country.

I get
to walk alongside my teammates as they struggle through life changing
decisions. And they get to walk alongside me through everything. Living in
community is a blessing from God even though sometimes it can be
frustrating.

Just
being real and showing people’s God’s love is a testimony in itself. My
team and I got to welcome one of the restaurant employees into the family
of God this past weekend and our joy in the Lord got to play a role in it.

Even
though we all come from different backgrounds, with grace and respect you
can work together in unity because we are all working for the same
master…our God is an awesome God.
