There is something amazing about sitting on the beach at Lake Michigan
watching the sun set. Add some friends, a guitar, and worship songs and
now we’re talking about a breathtaking evening. As I sat on the beach
Wednesday night I reflected on how blessed I am to be loved by God. I
am so lucky to be able to serve a God that created all the splendor
that surrounds us. So many times in the chaos of life I neglect to
stop, sit back, and enjoy the scenes around me. It amazes me that
stopping to actually smell the roses takes only seconds but can
rejuvenate the mind and soul. It’s in those little things that God is
showing us that He is there. What an amazing God!
