I've been home for about a month now and I've had a lot of time to reflect on my World Race so far. God has taught me a lot in the first six months, but I know He's not finished with me yet. I know I need to go back, but I need help getting there. Here's why…
Thanks to all my supporters, God has accomplished all this is the first six months of my race:
Month 1: Zimbabwe – Clothed and loved on His precious babies!
Month 2: South Africa – Cooked and served meals to PopUp students and community members.
Month 3: Swaziland – Put on Christmas parties, loved more babies, and passed out dinner and cabbages!
Month 4: China – Shared dumplings and testimonies of His work in our lives with college students.
Month 5:Philippines – Acted out Bible stories and sang for children in the village.
Month 6: India – Danced with and sang to children with special needs and special hearts 🙂
Believe me, all of this was accomplished by Him because I was not the type of person to sing and act and love strangers before I was given a new life from Jesus Christ.
All of these things were not possible without first, the love and strength of God, and second, the incredible financial and prayer support of everyone who has invested in my World Race ministry.
There are still 5 more months of countries where God can use me to continue His work. That's 5 more months of orphans being loved, meals being served, stories of God's love being told, and lives of God's people being changed. I might only be one person, but I am willing to go and that's all He needs.
I do not want to accept these awesome six months as the entirety of my World Race, but I cannot go back unless I get help paying for my plane tickets. I still need $1,400 in personal donations in order to meet my team in Romania.
The good news is that my fundraising account is at $14,136.39!!! God has proven faithful to me in this area of my race and that alone shows me that I am meant to go back and finish out my race strong.
