The month of Malaysia is coming to an end. Ministry with our contact has ended and I am currently sitting on a bus making my way to the other side of the country for debrief with my squad.

This month was both a struggle and a blessing, but there was and is joy in both. Our Contact, Pastor Yesu, a Tamil Indian, is a fierce man of God, passionate about Prayer and the kingdom of God. He understands the power and importance of prayer. That action and service without prayer will not withstand and are pointless, merely a waste of time.

My blog title comes as a quote from pastor, to give you a little context. We had only been there three of four days, and we drove to this rubber plantation with him. (Side note: I certainly did not know that rubber came from trees…) He pulls off to the side of the rode and exclaims in his very energetic and much forceful tone, "Everybody! Close the windows and get down!" If only there had been a recording as the entire team, got down in the floor board expecting gun shots or something bizarre, only to realize, he was asking us to exit the van, which in his vocabulary was get down!

I feel extremely blessed. I got to spend the entire month in Malaysia, a closed country, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Many of my other squad mates were struggling this month as they were not able to share Christ, aside from the testimony of their lives… And while sometimes we became tired, my team had the privileged of sharing the Gospel almost every night!

If only I knew how to upload photos to my blog, I would show you some of the most beautiful faces my team and I had the privilege of leading to Christ. I would show you some of the people I am still praying for as I am confident that they will one day be in heaven (even though they themselves may not know it yet); I am trusting that the seeds planted will have people sent to water them, and that God himself will make them Grow to salvation! (1 Corinthians 3:6-7) There are other faces that will be etched in my mind forever as well, but for harder to swallow reasons. These are the faces of people I am convinced will never know the abundant life that Jesus brutally had to die on the cross to provide, unless God decides to reveal himself to them, to open their blinded eyes, to open their deafened ears, and to soften their hearts of stone. ( Maybe i will have the gumption to sit down and write a blog about what God revealed to me this month concerning people who were raised to have a different belief system, those who have never heard the name of Jesus, who were raised to believe in over 300,000 gods, who are more faithful and dedicated to the worship of their gods then many "christians" are to Christ… as I had to wrestle through some difficult questions concerning what I believed  about these things this month, and make a conscious decision to continue to believe that God is good even when I don't fully understand. And also my greater understanding of the hindu and muslim religion and how it boils down to being a consequence of generational sin…)

With all this being said, after learning this month a lesson in prayer like never before, I am excited to announce that the month of June my team and I have been given the awesome privilege of participating in what is called "ATL" or otherwise known as Ask The Lord. We will be arriving in Cambodia with no plans of ministry, no direction as far as where to go, or where to stay or what to eat. We are getting to walk out obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit this month. As we Ask The Lord for direction and  provision we trust that he is already preparing for us what this month will hold. Nothing will come as a surprise to him, though it might for us! I am beyond thrilled for this opportunity. My team will also be taking this month to do unsung heroes in Cambodia, which is a campaign to find new contacts in the country for future world race teams to potentially work with. We will be praying for, looking for, meeting with, and seeking out kingdom minded people who are bringing and advancing the kingdom of God here on earth.

Stay tuned for what next month (The month of June) entails. I am sure there are going to be lots of crazy God showed up and did this type stories and lessons as the 7 of us depend and rely and listen to our Heavenly Father like never before!
