I believe most people have someone in their lives that truly push them. Push them to be better than who they are. Try their hardest to guide them to the right decisions. They take a special interest in your growth and in loving you right. Well let me introduce you to Ricki Smith:
Ricki and I met through my older brother shortly after she returned from her own World Race. It's been this extraordinary woman of God who helped get me where I am, who drove me to the race and the growth I've experience in Christ. She has a big part in who I am today and I could not be more thankful.
Now Ricki is setting forth on another journey. Starting in September she will be moving to Mae Sot, Thailand for four months where she will be working with the Thai and Burmese people. She will be helping to build sustainable living, creating business and job opportunities, lending a hand in a church plant, and helping the Burmese refugees who are stuck in extreme poverty to cross the border into Thailand.
For Ricki to follow this path God is calling her to she is need of raising $8,000. Let's help to send this beautiful woman to Thailand so her hands can do the work of our Father!
