It’s a new season for me. I have stepped out of leadership and am now on a new team, Team Amala.
As everything around me changes, there are two words I continue to hear from the Lord, “be free.”
‘Free,’ that’s exactly how I feel right now. Everything about the environment I am in and the new role I am playing on my team screams freedom. I am walking into a season where the Lord is telling me that my only responsibility is to seek intimacy with Him. For the first time in a very long time, I feel like I only need to focus on where I am at and how I can grow in my relationship with the Lord.
Just to ensure that I knew this was going to be a season where I walk through freedom, the Lord placed me in the mountains on a lake in Pokhara, Nepal. God is so cool. I have always said the mountains and nature are where I connect with God the most, and well, I have no excuses this month. I wake up every day with an extraordinary view of God’s beautiful creation.
This blog doesn’t really have a conclusion other than it is time for me to learn what it looks like to walk in true freedom with the Lord. It is time for me to find intimacy with Him that I have never experienced before. My prayer when I left for the World Race was that I would be able to live out the words “Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders”. That is still my prayer, but it is also becoming a reality.
